JOB DETAIL

  • Drive delivery process (create work breakdown) to ensure various methodologies come together and team is enabled to meet agreed upon scope within committed timeframes and budget. Ensure Project/ Program delivery specific to the methodology of the project/program (e.g., Waterfall, Agile) by effective management of scope, timelines, resources, financials, risks, and issues
  • Manage milestones and work with team to identify delivery dates and steps to get there: develop detailed project plans, dependencies, predecessors, milestones, earn value analysis
  • In an Agile process, this role will typically focus on the core program requirements if they are not playing a Scrum Master or RTE
  • Partner with technical engineering teams to identify gaps and drive and take accountability to resolve themFacilitate meetings and interactions as needed to achieve delivery objectives
  • Mobilize meetings (set objectives) stand-ups, status meetings, stakeholders reviews, change management
  • Drive action and hold others accountable for delivery
  • Prepare and communicate delivery status to stakeholders, including progress, obstacles, risks on a regular cadenceTranslate highly complex concepts so they can be understood by variety of audiences
  • Utilize facts and data to ensure objectivity
  • Be transparent - “speak the truth”
  • Selection of appropriate tools and methodologiesGovernance, Status Reporting and issues and risk management to happen through the defined tools and methodology
  • Fiduciary responsibility - Provide quality estimates based on solid assumptions (reliable sizing)
  • Understand the budget and track actuals to budget; manage variances; develop forecasts
  • Solution Delivery: Familiar with generally accepted IT project management methodologies (agile, scrum, waterfall, hybrid, including internal OSAM) used in SDLC used with Technology
  • Problem Management: Understands the levers that can trigger an issue and pro-actively develops plans to resolve
  • Develops project charter, basic project plans that include milestones, tasks, and resource assignments
  • Knows and understands the standards for delivery metrics based on organization expectations
  • Mobilizes events to share information and facilitate learning, e.g., meetings, stand-ups, stakeholder reviews, showcases
  • Interacts and reports regularly to executive project/program sponsor and Sr. Technology Leadership
  • Maintains calm and focus under pressure

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 - 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master leading projects of high complexity and documenting project charters, project plans, IRAADs and other documents gathered from both business and IT counterparts
  • 2+ years of experience in Healthcare/Insurance or digital space
  • Experience in participating in data/system migration projects and facilitating technical design, architecture, and issue resolution discussions and working sessions
  • Knowledgeable in SDLC processes, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables
  • Proficient in Agile and/or other project management tools and methodologies
  • Negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills
  • Ability to work in a highly variable, virtual, and matrixed environment
  • Ability to plan and execute project plans including work breakdown, resource estimates activity planning, resource scheduling, project administration, and status reporting.
