A Senior Consultant evaluates the demands in talking with the customer's representatives, transforms the essence into an abstract and algorithmic business model; Identifies the use cases and transforms them into logical and technical views;Customizing the respective business area and making sure the system reacts in the manner according to the constraints of the requested use case.Senior Consultant documents the settings and prepares proper guidelines that allow other consultants to do further changes or repairs with due efforts. Senior Consultant takes care that proper training is given to the users and that the system is usable, performing appropriately and the business flow is complete and correct.During go live the Senior Consultant assists the technical staff by testing the behavior of the system.The main duty of a Senior Consultant is to transfer external know-how to the client.

  • Work with other line functions to collect or provide relevant data
  • Responsible for revenue account determinations, order to cash, basic debugging, pricing rebates, output, incompletion log, shipping/transportation, picking/packing, business process/scenarios, Text Management, Batch Management and Serial Number Management
  • Generate knowledge about the current business process, design current business flows, study current business processes and its complication, in all we can say getting through with current business setup. Flow diagrams and DFD are prepared, most of the time in Vision format, all this forms the part of AS IS document
  • Perform full life-cycle implementations, role-outs, credit management, partner determination, variant configuration, bill of materials, free goods, back-order processing, delivery scheduling, back-order delivery scheduling and subsequent delivery split
  • Everything configured has to be documented as per their categories in the form of predefined templates, these have to be then approved by the team leads 
  • Process return orders, invoice correction requests, credit memo & debit memo along with providing inter-company, third party, consignment sales, customized and standardized reports
  • Support projects in Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, User Acceptance Testing
  • Perform documentation, configuration, business processing, test scripts, material listing, exclusion, product proposal and material substitution
  • Support clients in the selection, implementation and support of specific SAP modules
  • Requires consulting skills, business knowledge and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into the clients business environment in order to achieve client expected business results

Essential Skills


  • Should have sound knowledge in MTO/MTS, GST/CIN, S4 Hana, Fiori, LSMW/ALE, EDI, MDM/MDG, Business Processes, Inquiries, Quotes, Sales Orders, Sales Return, Scheduling Agreements, and Rush Orders Cash Sales etc.
  • Must have integration with FI/MM along with other modules
  • Should be organized and focused on delivering research tasks within defined deadlines
  • Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills
  • Experience in customer relationship management using highly professional verbal and Written communication skills
  • Exhibit reactiveness and constructiveness at work such as, suggesting innovative but pragmatic solutions
  • Utilize secondary research sources and techniques
