Develops, organizes and manage engineering team to meet PPM’s operational objectives by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Responsibilities
Essential functions:
 
	- Support Operations department to maximize utilization, revenue and profitability.
- Act as a liaison between front offices and local engineering team
- Ensure all engineering resources are trained and qualified to execute operations projects.
- Track resource loading and hire to meet operational demand.
- Develop a comprehensive engineering training program for PPM resources
 
Secondary responsibilities:
 
	- Continuously, monitor, manage and optimize engineering billable and non-billable utilization.
- Develop and manage product specialist roles for project enhancements and audits.
- Champion monthly scorecards with Project Managers to utilize on annual performance reviews.
- Enhance career path program and create individualized career paths for Operational resources.
- Identify recruitment needs and assist in the interview process of potential candidates.
- Identify top performers and fast track them to new promotion levels.
Educational Qualifications
Requirements :
	- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Discipline and 5 years of related experience as Team lead, preferably in the oil, chemicals, power or similar process industries.
- Experience with managing direct reports.
- Experience working with software/solution provider company.
- Plant Operation experience in refineries, chemical, power plants, etc.
- Knowledge of controls engineering and controls systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
