Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts and test cases and execute tests to validate new features.
Track and coordinate testing due dates to ensure timely completeness.
Interact with the development team, participating from start to finish for each release.
Write concise, complete, well organized bug reports, test cases, and status reports.
Work with supervisors to evaluate and recommend enhancements, document QA processes, and improve best testing practices.
Research and resolve any broken automation scripts that fail during execution.
Ensure quality metrics are tracked in performance testing phases.
Knowledge and Experience
5 years of experience in the field of Software Quality Assurance.
Minimum experience of 4 years in developing test automation, functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing and performance/stress testing and automated testing for both backend infrastructure and UI.
Must have good working experience in TestNG, Cucumber or other automation frameworks, Java, Python, SQL, Selenium.
Experience with JIRA, GIT, and Bitbucket or similar tools.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Java.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at same time.
Configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently in CI/CD environments.
Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools and test management tools.
Experience in the Financial Industry (experience with Fixed Income products is preferred)
Hands-on experience with automation tools, such as Frog logic squish, Selenium webdriver (Java)
4 years of experience in Selenium webdriver with Java.
Minimum experience of 3 years with automated testing using TestNG, Cucumber framework and Java language.
Experience of testing web and mobile applications.
Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Experience of working with performance tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
Experience working as part of a global team, working across multiple time zones.
Bachelor s degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent with 6 to 8 years of experience in a quality assurance environment.
