Role and Responsibilities

• Building Automation framework, Scripting automated Test cases, Generating test reports
• Write, maintain & execute test cases for studio games on mobile platform covering the majority of devices
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing of Mobile applications, including network data and logs.
• Work closely with scrum team, producers and QA lead/ Manager to make sure submission meets high-quality standards
• Actively communicate with developers and business stakeholders for conducting defect triage and reducing defect age
• Provide defects root cause analysis along with corrective & preventive action plan
• Work in an agile environment and ensure timely product delivery
• Provides trade-offs, risks, and risk mitigation strategies
• Have a detailed understanding of studio games covering various corner cases
• Prepare test documentation to improve the quality of the application
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Help QA lead in improving the current QA process
• Manage team in absence of Leads

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of Manual & Automation testing experience.
• Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics & Communication with more than 65% aggregate
• Mobile testing experience is must
• Android Automation Experience, Good to have Unreal experience
• Automation hands-on experience on Selenium & Appium
• Gaming domain experience - Battle Royal, Racing, Casual games (preferred the most)
• Experience with TDD/ BDD
• Ability to identify performance flaws
• Understanding of device types and their metrics
• Experience with these or similar tools — Charles Proxy, DDMS, ADB, Firebug, Fiddler, Jira, Test Rail, JMeter, etc.
• Ability to write QA documentation -Test cases, Training, Test plans
• Good exploratory testing skills and knowledge to apply the right level of testing approach
• Good knowledge of testing processes and understanding of Agile methodologies
• Prior experience of handling team would be plus
