Understand Salesforce.com architecture and data model - know when to develop declaratively and when to use programmatic development.

Develop and maintain Lightning applications using up to date Salesforce technologies.

Building custom solutions using Salesforce.com configuration and customization to existing solve business challenges.

Actively seek out opportunities to leverage Salesforce, driving productivity gains and maintaining the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence innovative goals.

Involved from start of the project all the way through the deployment and will actively participate in requirement discussion, design, development, validation/testing and deployment of the project.

Hands on development using configuration, APEX, HTML, LWC, JQuery.

Develop integration processes using Salesforce.com’s Web Services API.

Continual evaluation of existing Salesforce security and architecture to ensure its manageability and sustainability.

Adherence to coding standards for all deliveries.

Engage with key stakeholders through the entire software development lifecycle, keeping them regularly updated on progress and ensuring all requirements are satisfied.

Overview

As Senior Salesforce Developer you will be developing Sales and Service Cloud within Salesforce, performing both declarative and programmatic development. Experience with Lightning is essential in this role. You will be giving support to your colleagues in Sales, Marketing, After- Market and Service .

Senior Salesforce Developer reports to Head of CRM.

Skills Required

Proven experience with analysis and design through to successful implementation of Salesforce.com, including experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit, Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, LWC, VisualStudio, Force.com IDE Migration Tool and Web Services.

Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.

Proven experience of using custom controllers to integrate with external web service tool. Ability to design complex SOQL and SOSL queries.

Proven experience developing custom Lightning components through Aura. Proven experience in Point-and-click development within a Lightning environment.

Proven experience of mapping business processes to the technical solution and undertaking impact analysis.

Code deployment experience using Github.

Ability to provide application users with technical and functional support. A good understanding of data structures, data modelling and DB schema.

Exposure to Agile development methodologies and JIRA as a project management application.

A proven track record of successful project delivery with at least three full project lifecycles completed.

Strong stakeholder management and ability to work as a member of a team. Strong communication skills.

Fluent English.

Nice to Have

Experience developing with semi-structured data like JSON. Knowledge of Java and Javascript.

Certifications on Salesforce.com.
