Position: Snowflake Developer

location : Hyderabad

Job Description:

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Data Warehouse and Analytics platform to meet the Enterprises business analysis and reporting needs
- Collaborate with architects, IT and business partners to deliver the Enterprise Data Warehouse strategy and technology roadmap
- Design Dimensional Models, Data Marts and Metadata catalogs
- Design, develop, and support new and existing ETL processes employing industry standards and best practices to ingest Data from source systems
- Design, implement and optimize Data Warehouse infrastructure architecture
- Performance monitoring and tuning of ETL processes and database queries
- Ensure source code is maintained using version control system and change management processes
- Perform various complex assignments with little supervision
- Carry out training for IT and business partners
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Coach/mentor less experienced developers
- work with business partners to lead and influence business process improvements and technology/solution decisions
Skills/Experience
- Possess Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information systems and/or Data Science
- 3+ years of Experience performing Data Warehouse Design and development
- 3+ years of Experience with Data Warehouse technologies including SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Shell Script, Python, CSVs, JSON, Talend, DataStage, Informatica, SQL Server, mySQL, JavaScript
- Proficiency in Dimensional modeling techniques and their applications
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and verbal communication Skills
- Ability to make sound decisions based upon analysis and work with both technical and business personnel
- Experience with MicroStrategy, Qlik, Power BI, SSRS, DataBricks, Data Science, AI, ML and other reporting and Analytics tools is preferred
- Experience with Cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS"
