Sr. SQL Developer

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Good Knowledge in Oracle supplied functions/packages
  • Thorough Knowledge of oracle Database objects like Triggers, Cursors, Stored procedures, functions, packages etc Documentation.
  • Knowledge of latest features in PL/SQL.
  • Experience in analyzing the PL/SQL code.
  • Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.
  • SUPERIOR level Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting skills.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  • Expected to be self-managing, take technical responsibility for a subsystem or a whole project.
  • Expertise in evaluating the Explain plan
  • Hands on experience in both Oracle format and ANSI standards

Education, Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Need a 5+ years experienced resource with experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
  • Hands on coding in SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Extensive experience in SQL Tuning.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent written & communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL/ Pl/SQL routines in other databases like SQLServer/PostgreSQL etc
  • Sql language certification like Oracle Database SQL Certified is preferable
