We are looking for application support engineer with Full Stack Web dev/support experience. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert level application support and monitoring of Sureify SaaS products. You will play the role of an expert in Sureify SaaS products and technologies in troubleshooting production issues and also provide timely and effective communication to customers.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and solving technical issues including providing code fixes, improvements or enhancements in web-based applications using PHP, MySQL, Go, REACT and any other areas as needed.
- Handle support cases and manage end-to-end triaging internally with dev teams if necessary and with external customers.
- Perform application maintenance activities as needed such as upgrades, deployments.
- On-call rotation for first level escalation.
- As a 24x7 function, support team requires engineers ready to work in shifts and this position need to work between 2 PM to 10 PM IST
- Participate in global follow-the-sun handoffs with other regions.
- Documenting knowledge is paramount to the success of the team.
- As such engineers in this role, develops knowledge articles or run books based on the resolution of issues.
- Continuously develop technical and other skills in supporting newer Sureify SaaS products.
- Proactively look for opportunities to develop new tools, address technical or process gaps
Requirements
- BE, MCA degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to compromise and aptitude for learning
- Must have experience in coding, implementing and/or supporting SaaS products or cloud applications
- Must have over 6 years of experience with PHP frameworks along with a good working knowledge of SQL.
- Must have experience with RESTful JSON web services and troubleshooting third-party integrations/APIs.
- Nice to have an understanding in - Golang, iOS, Android, AJAX, REACT or other UI frameworks and Linux/Unix environments.
