Design, develop and maintain client-side (web based) software, in an Agile environment for the Wealth Management domain in the Financial industry Maintain the existing code base: implement web interfaces, consume APIs, deliver functional requirements and document Work with the established frameworks to on-board new Clients and Customers and represent the company in web requirement gathering and delivery discussions Work cooperatively and productively with other Software Engineers and Management Minimum 3-5 years of experience developing web applications Up-to-date understanding of responsive web design, HTML, CSS, browser compatibility and web standards such as HTTPS and Restful APIs Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Angular or other JavaScript MVC style frameworks like React, Ember or Knockout Experience with TypeScript, Visual Studio Code and Microsoft Windows a plus as we use it heavily Experience with ASP.NET, C# and IIS preferred, or other similar server-side MVC technologies like Node, Ruby, Java, or PHP can be considered Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud hosting preferred, mobile experience like Cordova preferred Familiarity working in an Agile environment with unit/E2E tests, source control, code reviews and CI An eye for design and UX, with attention to detail. Graphical skills a plus An interest for problem solving, collaborating and delivering user-friendly software products A knack for keeping things simple, elegant, organized, reliable, secure, well documented and on time Strong communication skills and proven ability to work effectively within a small team of developers Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new concepts, techniques and approaches University degree in Information Technology/System, Computer Science/Engineering or related disciplines
