Responsibilities:
Develop interactive dashboards and cultivate data models
Create spend buckets by vendor and department showing increase or decrease on a YOY basis
Create interactive visual aids in the dashboard like mapping spend by vendor and their location
Create, plan, and publish relevant procurement metrics and reporting to provide data visibility and support business needs
Create, plan, and publish relevant procurement metrics proposals for streamlining data flows developing scorecards efficiently
Evaluate, validate, and automate reports for procurement management. Provide appropriate input into test design to ensure data integrity for investment decision purpose
Prepare AdHoc analysis focusing on process optimization and cost reduction
Provide root cause driver analysis to support decision-making by effectively communicating and translating data and results into business insights and actions
Communicate and present recommendations to all levels of staff and management regarding detailed implementation plans for metrics and scorecards, including automation
Continuously work to create efficiencies and improvements within reporting, procedures, and scheduling processes
Create documentation / Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all process work.

Expert visualizations skills in Power BI or Tableau
Strong technical skills in R or Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel
Experience with cleansing the data by GL code, spend category, and any ancillary scrubbing that is needed for reporting to be accurate
Experience in combining data from various sources together to produce holistic data models
Experience with reporting solutions and data mining in relational databases
Strong ability to understand raw data and identify anomalies
Strong analytical skills in assessing business processes, systems, and information flows, as well as compiling and assessing data
Understanding of key procurement metrics and their drivers
Knowledge of procurement and/or strategic sourcing
Effective communication and collaboration with all levels of the organization
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
Customer-oriented focus and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Ability to operate in a complex environment while adhering to schedules
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely and accurate completion of each; outcome-focused and experienced in project management as a means to plan, track, communicate progress and ensure on time delivery of projects.

5-7 years of experience in analytics (procurement and/or strategic sourcing preferred)
