The senior big data engineer is expected to work on multiple projects as a technical lead driving user story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing, and builds automation tools. Architects Big Data analytics framework.
Translates complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design, and high performing software.
Leads Big Data and batchreal-time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies. Experience in leading team of engineers.
Experience in agile and other rapid application development methods.
Requisites Education:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from a Premier institute.
Certified in Big Data Eco System components is a big plus.
Experience (Years):
Strong technical credentials, with at least 6+ years of development experience which includes 2+ years architecting solution.
Skills Technical Skills
Expertise in Data structures and algorithms
Expertise in BIG Data Architecture Hbase Hive Pheonix Pig Flume Scoop MapReduce Yarn Spark.
Expertise in any programming languages like python java Scala
Experience to design developed the architecture of Platform related technologies, Cloud, Analytics
Experience of stream processing on any - Apache Storm, Spark, Flink
Building systems that rely on proprietary algorithms, building and running large-scale distributed systems, web services, extracting structured-data from unstructured-content etc.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker, or comparable tool.
Other Skills
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Knowledge and experience in solutions developed for at least one business functional areas.
Research and Details oriented mind-set.
Mentors and grows with the team of big data engineers
High energy and ability to work in extended hours as requirement
