As the lead developer and backend architect, you will

-Own and lead the development of the server code

-Own production deployment and responsibility for server releases

-Work with the remote engineering team and coordinate/participate in code reviews

-Code in Java on AWS on a Grails-based system (Java-based Rails variant)

Prior mission-critical, highly-scalable, cloud-based system development is a big plus.

Prior experience at a POS or payments company is helpful.
