  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Experience with scripting languages, e.g. Python, Go, etc
  • Experience with Linux/Windows OS
  • Experience with cloud resource provisioning and automation, i.e., Terraform, Ansible, CLIs, APIs
  • Experience with CI/CD and devops and test driven development, and related tools, e.g., Travis, Jenkins
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Waterfall development
  • Experience with code version control and issue reporting/management tools, e.g., Github, JIRA
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly responsible, motivated, able to work with little direction
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter
  • Good code documentation/comments and end-user documentation skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to train and lead more junior members of the team
