Job Title: Business Development Manager - IT Sales

Location: Remote

Required Experience: 6+ years of Business Development in the IT/Web/App domain

We are a team of people involved in writing the new web. We are building the next generation scalable platform on which the websites and web services will rely. Our core areas of operation are Drupal applications, and scaling and optimizing applications for high performance and high availability on the cloud.


We are looking for someone who is quality-conscious and product-oriented.



  • Hunting, Account Mining, and Expanding Business Globally
  • Developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Identification of new business opportunities and generating target-based revenues from new customer acquisitions
  • Building business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Generating new leads directly with prospects
  • Develop marketing content like business proposals, presentations, and other documents as required by potential clients
  • Coordination with lead generation partners and agencies
  • Researching potential leads from business directories including LinkedIn
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, etc
  • Maximizing networking opportunities and regularly using conferences and events to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts
  • Presenting company services to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
  • Responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Maintaining short-term and long-term business development plans
  • Experience in dealing with government tenders
  • Meet or exceed sales targets


Desired Skills/Knowledge

  • Very strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • 6+ yrs of experience in technology sales (preferably website design and development sales)
  • Understanding of general IT outsourcing business
  • Understanding of website and web application outsourcing business
  • Well-rounded awareness of web and app development (you don't need to be a coder)
  • Ability to liaise with project managers and technical team leaders
  • Experienced in having executed B2B sales
  • Experienced in handling international clients
  • Experienced in documenting SOW, proposals, case studies, presentations, and simplifying requirements
  • Dealing with ticket size of USD 50k and more
