- Expert skills with PostgreSQL, other NoSQL databases, SQL Servers and MySQL for Windows and Linux platforms
- Experience of working in a fast-paced agile team with fully integrated CI/CD
- Experience on Linux/Unix Scripting
- Demonstrated experience in documenting database installation guide, tuning, backup, and restore procedures.
- Install, configure, patch and upgrade database software (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, MySQL cluster, Cassandra and Couchbase)
- Manage the operations for both development and production databases
- Create and configure monitors to establish the health of servers and the databases running on them
- Troubleshoot NoSQL issues and performance bottlenecks
- Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades
- Optimize and maintain legacy systems
- Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
- Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
- Provide data management support to users
- Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
- Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols
Skill Required (Other)
- Good command English communication skills for the purpose of communicating with clients outside India
- Strong ability to work independently on complex issues
- Collaborate efficiently with internal experts to resolve customer issues quickly
- No objection to work in night shifts as the production support team works on 24*7 basis. Hence rotational shifts will be assigned to the candidates on weekly basis so that everyone in the team gets equal opportunity to work in day and night shifts. But if you get candidates willing to work in night shift on need basis do discuss with us.
