Job Role
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all stakeholders at all levels.
- Manages and appropriately escalates delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes associated with the project development initiatives.
- Analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, and other related management and technical duties.
- Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget.
- Creates a method of change management including ownership of documentation, communication plans, process training etc.
- Defines project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders and business partners.
- Establishes, plans, and executes major milestone reviews and decision gates to complete the program and project life cycle.
- Identifies, clarifies and communicates project vision, goals and objectives and how these align with, support or impede organizational strategic objectives. Manages scope throughout the project duration. Maintains accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans, status reports.
- Possesses high level understanding in the areas of cloud applications, CRM/ERP, API, database and system design.
- Provides process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards.
- Resolves conflicts by demonstrating leadership and appropriate decision-making competencies.
- Responsible for complex program management tasks and development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.
- Understands, tracks and articulates issues / risks / action items; works with responsible owners to address the items on a timely basis; updates appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Manages the team in delivering the project and provides technical guidance.
- Monitors project baseline to ensure activities progress as planned.
- Ensures client SLAs are consistently met.
- Defines best practices, code review process for the team to follow.
- Provides guidance in domain aspects to the team.
- Works with SMEs (Architects, Development leads) to define best practices and benchmarks. Interact professionally with a diverse group, developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
- Exercises delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects/programs.
- Ensures that the team maintains a high level of competence and operational excellence.
- Establishes strong relationships with foreign clients.
- Generates and executes onboarding, training, KT and skill building plans.
- Motivates and mentors team members.
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Experience in Agile/Waterfall execution methodology is mandatory.
- Very strong in SaaS application implementation and Data and application integration along with good exposure in any programming-based project delivery like JAVA and .Net.
- Should be good in documentation and reviewing Kanban.
- Strong background of delivering projects with first time right approach and Zero defects.
- Should have client facing experience.
- Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, project management.
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Should have excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in using estimation techniques like (Use case, FP, Story points).
- Experience in making presentations, organizing workshops, demos to customers and internal management team.
- Should have experience in pre-sales working on RFP / RFI and drive proposals.
- Experience in Integration technologies (like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, TIBCO, web Methods, Informatica etc) is highly desirable.
- Experience in API Management (APIGEE, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, etc) is highly desirable.
- Experience in ERP or CRM applications (Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics) is highly desirable.
- Any PMP certification is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- B.Tech (CSE/ECE/EE/IT) / BCA.
- M.Tech (Computer science, Digital Communication) / MCA.
- Good written and communication skills.
