Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-based Python Django software products
- Working closely with UX and Front-end Developers
- Write effective, scalable code
- Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
- Integrate user-facing elements into applications
- Test and debug programs
- Improve functionality of existing systems
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Assess and prioritize feature requests
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
- Designing and creating RESTful APIs for internal and partner consumption
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3+ years experience of Python coding skills
- 2+ years hands on experience with the Django framework
- Strong understanding of the Django framework
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM)
- Deep knowledge on Django models, routers, signals.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge about OOPS concepts
- Additional skills:
- Must have experience and knowledge in developing Microservices oriented architecture-based services using REST APIs.
- Database skills in a non-relational and relational database (i.e. mongo DB, postgres, MS-Sql etc.)
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience deploying Python applications into production
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure knowledge is a plus
