Experience- 2-4 years- ACON

4-7 years- CON

Location- Bangalore / Pune / Kochi

Notice period- Immediate / 30 days / Currently serving

Qualifications Required:

1. Must have advanced level SQL (DBA level) and data analysis skills

2. Minimum of 2-7 years experience on SQL database testing required

3. Good to have experience in testing ETL processes in SQL Server

4. Strong knowledge and understanding of QA process and methodology

5. Understanding of database design and implementation

6. Understanding of data analysis, data modeling, database design, data migration and business intelligence solutions is an added advantage

7. Good with database test automation frameworks

8. Should be familiar with SDLC & STLC

9. Well Versed with agile methodology

10. Experience or knowledge on Selenium Automation testing with C#, Azure is an added Advantage

11. Very Good analytical skills, good communication skills

12. Any exposure to Tax Technology is a plus

13. Experience in any data/File comparison tool

Job Description:

1. Create detailed database test cases / automation scripts for ETL testing, Data Visualization (Power BI)

2. Must be able to own the QA role throughout each project including but not limited to: requirements grooming, write and execute tests (manual and automated), monitor testing progress, report status, find and log defects, track defect fixes, gather and report metrics, choose when and what to re-test, collaborate with team members, monitor project progress, incorporate schedule and scope changes, shepherd the product to delivery

3. Build subject matter expertise for the databases under test and use that expertise in QA activities.

4. Adhere to SDLC and QA processes

5. Collaborate with development to assess and resolve DB / AUT issues

6. Collaborate with the project team to produce requirements that are clear, attainable, complete, and testable

7. Participate in estimation activities for project scope, schedule, and budget.

8. Analyze and understand the requirements, devise a test strategy, and plan that adequately covers the requirements

9. Develop high-level test scenarios that implement the strategy, elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases with clear steps

10. Build and maintain a traceability matrix between requirements and tests, review test artifacts with QA and development team members and update accordingly
