Role Description:
Technical program manager is in charge of handling all aspects of technical projects.
This is a multi-dimensional and multi-functional role. You will need to be comfortable reporting program status to executives, as well as diving deep into technical discussions with internal engineering teams and external partners. The technology program manager delivers the technical solution to support the projects vision and strategic direction.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with business and technology subject matter experts to assess requirements, define scope, create estimates, and produce project plans.
- Perform project planning and scheduling, manage tasks and coordinate project resources to meet objectives and timelines
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and find ways to accomplish project goals in the context of dynamic business/technical environments
- Provide high quality customer service and communicate project status (timelines, progress, and challenges) to technology and business stakeholders regularly
- Building and integrating information systems to meet the companys needs
- Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it
- Find the best tech solution to solve existing business problems.
Required Skills
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
- In depth knowledge about agile practices and hands own experience handling scrum team.
- Experience in capturing requirements and converting into user stories, creating sub tasks etc.
- Experience in conducting different agile ceremonies and creating different reports for the client.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Should have prior experience working on development/coding projects in any technology like Java, Nodejs etc.
- Experienced in designing and building applications or data pipelines in cloud environment.
- Strong architecture experience with the following:
- Microservices architectures
- Event-driven architectures
- APIs
- Domain Driven Design
- Serverless
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- DevOps
- Knowledge in DevOps strategy for fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in implementing/migrating solutions in container-based platforms like Docker and Kubernetes
- In depth knowledge in establishing Site Reliability Practices with various products and technologies to achieve better observability over applications and infrastructure.
Desired skills:
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge and work experience in docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in Apache Kafka.
- Experience in BigQuery and Looker.
