JOB DETAIL

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.
  • Coordinate with codevelopers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort.
  • Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
  • Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
  • Interface with internal teams to gather requirements and develop software solutions.
  • Build innovative, stateof-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
  • Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Skill Set Requirement

  • Very strong knowledge in PHP.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Capable to build efficient and reusable PHP modules.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Write clean , well-designed code and follow industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
  • Should have solid experience in PHP, Frameworks like Laravel/Codeigniter etc., MySQL/Postgresql, HTML, Javascript.
  • Solid knowledge in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.
  • Experience with building RESTful JSON web services.
  • Experience in Angular/ReactJS prefered.
  • Experience in MongoDB and Cloud will be an added advantage.
