JOB DETAIL

Purpose of the role

  • To support the CEO COO by providing valuable business insights to aid in making business decisions by tracking, monitoring and exploring business KPIs/metrics
  • To manage short and medium term projects such as cost initiatives, new store performance tracking /reporting, business modelling, competition tracking etc.
  • To lead automation projects including MIS automation, creating dashboards of business review scorecards, digital hypermarket to enable hypermarkets move to next levels
  • Work with teams to help them improve hypermarkets processes and systems
  • Ability of processing, analyzing and interpreting large data sets and come to meaningful conclusions
  • Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the business
  • Analyse data and use their findings from data analytics to solve business problems

 

Principal Responsibilities

 

1. Business Insights:

  • Variance analysis against set KPIs
  • Analyse all business KPIs on regular basis and give inputs aiding business decisions
  • Support on Monthly shareholder meeting on business performance - creation of presentation/decks
  • Solve long-term for key issues facing the format in a strategic way of solving by deeper understanding/analysis of business
  • Create smart dashboards for management to view in a glance
  • Handhold the entire budgeting process for hypermarket format

 

2. Program Management

  • Optimise hypermarket store model for future readiness
  • Design and Run pilots/experiments on hypothesis on business improvements along with leadership team
  • Maximise productivity of staff by process improvement ideas with business
  • Benchmark with best-in-class for all key processes
  • Skill improvement ideas by using processes/technology - cashiers/pickers, etc.
  • Ways to Reduce operating costs to globally best levels by process benchmarking
  • Along with leadership team, work on possible new hypermarket business projects eg. Help incubate and create compact store model for large e-commerce pin codes (10k sqft.)

 

3. Automation

  • Dashboard designing for all input variables creating impact on hypermarkets
  • Support the COO in ecommerce business by improving efficiency parameters
  • Work towards automating most tasks in terms of business MIS using available tools

 

Knowledge / Education

  • Expertise in BI tools and techniques
  • Knowledge in SQL and Python are preferred
  • Tier 2 MBA preferred
