Main purpose of the job and

Activities to be performed :

1.Gather and review the curated content from the SMEs/client

2.Create High-level Design Document

3.Apply Blooms levels of learning when stating course objectives and

creating content that matches them

4. Create visual storyboards with engaging learning activities and

compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer for ILTs

and WBTs

5. State instructional end goals and create content that matches them

6. Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished

product

7. Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods

8. Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process

9. Create supporting material/media (audio transcript, video

transcript, simulations, role plays, games, etc.)

10.Create accessibility compliant content for courses

11. Create content for emerging media technologies

12. Develop assessment instruments

13. Author WBTs using authoring tools like Storyline 360, Rise,

Captivate, GoMo (optional)

 

14. Maintain project documentation and course folders (course index -

complete record of a course - for media or any assets - complete record

of the asset)

15. Coordinate with project development team

16. Understand and apply the ADDIE model.

17. Ability to work in an Agile framework.

Education/qualifications: Graduate and above (Masters in

English/Communicative English/Mass Communication or

Diploma/Degree in Instructional Design preferred)

Knowledge of tools: MS office suite, Google Suite, Articulate Storyline

360 and Rise (intermediate to advanced level), Captivate, GoMo

(optional)

Key personal attribute: Excellent writing skills, commitment to quality,

openness to learning new skills and tools, awareness of the learning

industry latest trends, eye for details, flexibility to adapt to new

situations, strong verbal and written communication skills, proven track

record collaborating within a team environment.
