JOB DETAIL

IT Project Manager maintains information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions. A Technical Project Manager is the lead subject matter expert within the company regarding technology concerns. Additionally, they will hire and train additional support member in a business s tech department. They use their industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing project plans, goals, and budgets; identifying resources needed.
  • Developing schedules and methods for measuring results.
  • Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project.
  • Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion.
  • Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities.
  • Preparing requests for proposals and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products.
  • Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification required.
  • 6+ years experience as an IT professional.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in an IT Department.
  • In-depth knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft Windows, Google Apps administration, network administration and service desk administration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
