Education Culture is urgently hiring for Network Engineer & Technical Writer profile for Ludhiana location.
Required knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of IP addressing, classes and subnetting, including CIDR and VLSM techniques
- Knowledge about Routing, VLANs, VPN, WAN & LAN and Network Topologies
- Hands-on experience with network simulators like Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, Network Simulator 2 and Network Simulator 3
- Proven expertise and success in installing all versions of Windows server, including active directory server, domain name server, DHCP, FTP and Backup
- Ought to have good understanding of Wireshark or any other network packet analyzer software
- Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems, including bash scripting and configuring services on Linux
- Understanding of different network intrusion detection software(s) (Snort and Suricata)
- Ability to work on the cloud environment, AWS and Microsoft Azure preferably
- Understanding of network security guidelines/requirements as per industry standards
- Proven knowledge of Network Security and able to harden network infrastructure
- Ability to use different types of penetration testing tools like Nmap, SQLmap, Netcat, and Metasploit to conduct network based penetration testing
- It would be a plus point if one is able to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills with thorough knowledge of digital forensics methodologies using Autopsy and FTK Imager software(s)
