6-10 years experience as Business Analyst in a reputed It company working on ERP or Travel domain software products and applications:
Lead the collaboration with the technology, marketing, & operations groups to clarify, detail business and user requirements and link these requirements to business strategies and goals.
Manage requirements elicitation exercises through the use of questionnaires, observations, organizing workshops or one to one meetings.
Manage requirements conflicts and man hour negotiation
Determine assumptions and constraints • Asses requirement feasibility along with the Business Project Manager
Manage the execution of detailed requirement documents that captures user requirements and functionality/feature matrix, through utilizing techniques such as use case and UML (Unified Modelling Language)
Maintain change history and version control for requirement documents.
Present business requirements and flows to internal stakeholders and sign off on planned deliverables.
Work with solution providers' business analyst and PM to clarify and communicate our business requirements in order to achieve complete alignment and understanding of expected deliverables.
Review solution provider(s) functional requirement documents to ensure consistency and provide recommendation for sign offs.
Participate in new product/features and enhancement brainstorming exercises and provide input/recommendations based on assessment of situational analysis, feasibility and organizational readiness, market acceptance and benefit analysis.
Identify test case scenarios based on current features and expected business requirement and ensure these scenarios are comprehensive, re-usable and repeatable.
Create detailed test case packs including a requirement traceability matrix to ensure that all requirements are comprised in delivered features/solutions.
Proactively contribute to the execution of functional and regression test cases.
Report defects in a detailed and clear format on a timely and concise manner
Clarify test scenarios and reported defects to solution provider(s) • Manage bug fixes and priorities
Provide input for improvements and enhancements to quality management and measurement strategy.
