Role & Responsibilitie

  • Manage system infrastructure including, databases, testing computer equipment, firewalls, and other software and hardware.
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise.
  • Monitor the system daily and respond quickly to any security breaches or usability concerns.
  • Backup systems and verify that backups have been completed.
  • Install and Configure WINDOWS/LINUX Systems and Software with troubleshooting skills.
  • Regularly upgrade systems as needed.
  • Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current system.
  • Perform Server Update and Maintenance on timely basis, Ensure System Backups.

Skills required

1+ year experience as a system administrator.

  • Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours.
  • Expert knowledge of system security concerns and vulnerabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with VMware.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Provide Technical Support and Guidance after troubleshooting technical difficulties.
  • Good experience with networking principles, Firewalls, Load Balancing Solutions, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of PHP, Linux and related applications.
  • Should have good knowledge of Linux, OS, including deployment, configuration & troubleshooting.
  • Must have knowledge of Installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking services, equipment, and devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills .
