- Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems
- Defining the IT SOP s and processes
- Managing IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance
- Team management, Employee engagement, Stakeholder management, Customer service, Escalation management and keeping yourself updated on the floor issues
- Administering and supporting core Microsoft, Cisco, Sophos technologies
- Assisting with hardware, firewall, telecom, and software vendor evaluation
- Ensuring high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission-critical host computer resources
- Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices
- Analyzing business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
Prerequisites
- Experience in Ticketing management including service operations, expansions, and project work
- Experience in leading industry audits such as ISO, SOC II, etc.
- Strong documentation knowledge including but not limited to SOP s, Project documentation, Audit documentation, etc.
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Technology certifications including but not limited to Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, AWS, GCP, ITIL, etc.
- Strong knowledge of multiple technologies including but not limited to Servers, TCPIP, Office365, Sophos XG, Endpoint Protection, wireless LAN, Citrix XenApp/VDI, etc.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
