Roles and Responsibilities

Skills required:

• 3+ years’ experience with Python and related data science packages (pandas, scikit-learn, ...)
• 1+ years’ experience with PowerBI or similar product (e.g. Tableau)
• Strong knowledge of databases and query languages, both SQL as well as document-oriented databases such as Cosmos
• Strong knowledge of meta data standards, in particular JSON
• Experience with Cloud based architectures such as Microsoft Azure
• Experience with big data sets, processing of event streams, etc.
• Capable of cooperating with business stakeholders in a highly cross-functional, matrixed organization.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (epics, features, stories), modern software development practices (test driven development, paired programming, continuous deployment), and tools (Azure DevOps).

Education/Experience:

• 5-8 years professional data engineering experience
• Academic background in IT, mathematics, or statistics, including data science tracks.
• Very strong execution skills able to take seemingly vague questions and translate them into clear, achievable objectives
• Proven experience and passion for building highly successful and innovative data analytics products
