Roles & Responsiblities
- Examine design briefs to determine requirements
- Create visuals based on the specifications.
- Make rough drafts and present your ideas.
- Create illustrations, logos, and other designs by hand or with software.
- Use the right colours and layouts for each graphic.
- Collaborate with copywriters and the creative director to create the final design.
- Graphics should be tested across a variety of media.
- After receiving feedback, revise designs to ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
Pre-requisites
- Graphic design experience that has been demonstrated
- A strong illustration or another graphic design portfolio
- knowledge of design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- A degree in design, fine arts, or a related field is preferred.
