Scrum Master- IT & Digital Manager

Location: Mumbai

Experience: Post Graduate with minimum 4 years/ Graduate with minimum 6 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years experience as a Scrum Master applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory

Industry: Opening is with a well reputed Life Insurance company

Scrum Master and Agile professional who will be responsible for introducing Scrum and Agile techniques for IT initiatives. He will be responsible for coaching scrum team(s) to deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met. He will also be responsible to liaise with other Company’s International experts in the domain of Agile and IT development to understand and share best practices and implement them at our Company.

1. Ensuring the goals, scope and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible
2. Finding techniques for effective product backlog management
3. Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product backlog items
4. Understanding product planning in an empirical environment
5. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value
6. Helping the Development team to create high value products
7. Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress
8. Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed
9. Coaching the Development Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood.
10. Assist the Senior Scrum Master to increase Scrum adoption within the organization
11. Assist in planning Scrum implementations within the organization

L) Scrum Masters encourage the use of continuous integration (CI), automation and Pair programming to reduce development time and improve the architecture and quality of the product.

Candidate should have

1. Post Graduate with minimum 4 years/ Graduate with minimum 6 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years’ experience as a Scrum Master applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory

Necessary Scrum master certification from

1. PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I) and above from Scrum.org, or
2. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and above from Scrum alliance, or
3. Any equivalent certification from credible institutions

Added advantage / preference

1. Knowledge of other Agile approaches, e.g., XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
2. Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques, e.g., User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
3. Understanding of how to build front-end solutions using HTML5, CSS3, React, Node and Angular

Worked on collaboration platforms like JIRA
