This role acts as the owner of one of the most critical revenue sources for this business
This role is also a part of the core group of all decision making . The role would be the singular owner of growing the network and deploying sales structures and marketing dollars to be able to acquire a large and diverse surface of merchants.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Hire and lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
- Ensure compliance with targets by means of daily/weekly/monthly reviews
- Monitor and analyze key business performance metrics and suggest improvements
- Perform research and identify new potential markets and customer segments
- Work with product, engineering and design leads to identify product intervention and features required for augmenting growth and / or improving experience / economics
- Optimize and improve inside sales efforts for improved conversion and retention
- Key KPIs
- # Of Orders from new and existing clients
- Rev/Km from the business segment
- Given part of the core team, all organizational KPIs
Qualifications:
- 3 years of sales experience, preferably in FinTech/NBFC,preferably from Payment experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
