What you ll do:
- Projects will include using data analysis to improve our sales territories, make objective decisions on how to design profitable sales territories, and staff them to improve return on investment.
- Working on several initiatives that have structured/unstructured quantitative data, derive key insights that are top priorities
- Preparing presentations for the senior leaders stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant analysis
- Drawing insights using data from primary and secondary sources
- Using statistical analysis to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets for the diagnosis and prediction of sales revenues and target achievement
- Using the data analysis to create business case and provide recommendations, use that to drive the vision forward.
- Ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance of models and solutions in coordination with data scientists
What you ll need
- Bachelor s or Masters degree in Science, Math, Technology, Computer Science, or related branches
- 3 to 5 years of experience performing data analysis working with large volumes of structured or unstructured data
- Experience in all aspects of data analytics including mining, scrubbing, and transforming
- Strong experience in presenting insights to senior leaders and communicating using PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations
- Knowledge of statistical techniques
- Working knowledge of SQL/relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of business, data science and technical stakeholders
Following knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory:
- Prior experience / working knowledge of Python
- Data mining techniques
