Roles and Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business analysis, banking (esp. Lending) domain and people management skills to play a key role as functional consultant throughout the project life cycle of their assigned projects.
  • The Analyst will be heavily involved in planning and execution of multiple implementation projects
  • Participate in and/or lead requirements gathering sessions for implementation projects
  • Develop and own high quality documentation throughout the duration of projects, including capturing functional requirements, system configuration, processes/workflow, test scenarios, data extracts and interface requirements, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to scope of the project
  • Design, document and own any training material or user guides for implementation projects
  • Participate in data extraction/conversion exercises with the business stakeholders for projects involving data migration
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to the development team on the scope of the project
  • Keep a track of all the deliverables for a project and ensure maintenance of project artefacts as per the organization process
  • Mentor junior BAs and Testers on product, process and domain

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Knowledge of Retail or Corporate Lending with proficiency in at least 2 of the following - Origination, Servicing and Collections
  • Knowledge of or proficiency in digital products/process related to retail/corporate lending
  • Should be adept at understanding various calculation logic applicable at different processes/stages of lending
  • Must possess working knowledge of at least 2 of the following products Personal Loans, Home Loans, Vehicle Loans, Education Loans
  • Proficiency in Business Analysis skills and SDLC concepts
  • Proficiency in usage of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and flowcharting tools
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Candidates with knowledge of accounting covering the lifecycle events of Retail/Corporate lending will be preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills a must - able to think through issues, and provide workable solutions, which are thought out end to end.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Must be very comfortable working on major projects involving cross functional teams across the globe and in engaging business stakeholders and internal teams as well
  • Must have a positive, and energetic attitude and a strong desire to provide excellence in stakeholder engagement
