Roles and Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Manager Infra and in conjunction directs organization wide Infra technology planning, budgeting, impact analysis, security implementation and risk management
- Evaluates emerging technologies and keeps current with industry trends and improvements.
- Manages IT team, Team player
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of SLA.
- Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Provides direction, oversight and coordination IT Operations as well as external vendors
- Maintains adherence to software license agreements. Manages contracts related to hardware maintenance.
- Oversees capacity management for all processing and systems functions; maintains strong relationship with the Application Development organization to ensure existing and projected requirements are met
- Establishes and manages a set of key performance metrics and SLAs to measure, monitor and improve performance of the service delivery for India team
Desired Candidate Profile
- Work Experience in Install and Troubleshooting of all Windows OS and Severs.
- Work Experience in Linux and Mac OS is Optional
- Working experience on Firewalls like Fortinet, Sonicwall both on-prem and Cloud
- Experience on Active directory along Microsoft 365 experience conjunction
- Knowledge of popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection systems.
- Ability to solve complex hardware and software issues
- Wireless network configuration, throughput, and security maintenance.
- Software Licensing compliance management
- Keep upskilling the IT team
- Azure or Aws concepts are Optional skills
- Addressing user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking within SLA
- Certification in Microsoft technologies, Networking is required. Cloud is optional
- Order or buy computer systems and coordinate with purchase and supplies department
