What will you do?

• Lead and participate in the design, development, deployment of REST ESB web services using Software AG webMethods.
• Determine appropriate integration pattern to solve a business need
• Enhance existing ESB services to add functionality
• Ensure service designs follow approved architecture
• Mentor and support colleagues in their capabilities
• Work intensively together in a Kanban agile team
• Identify defects in services, debug and provide effective solutions to resolve the defects

What you need to succeed:

• 4+ years experience developing ESB web services using Software AG webMethods
• REST services an asset
• ESB wrappers of mainframe transactions and queues (using MQ adapter) an asset
• Experience developing Java REST APIs or a willingness to learn Java REST APIs
• Customer obsession customers are at the center of all we do
• Post secondary Computer Science diploma or degree

Preferred skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations/problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
