As a senior member of UX UI group at Impetus, you will collaborate with clients, internal product teams, UI engineers, user experience designers, and visual designers to deliver best of class and responsive front-end applications. Your objective will be to deliver highly engaging and elegant user interfaces using latest technologies and frameworks, design patterns and best practices for multiple project engagements, including customer projects and internal IP development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate technical excellence by collaborating with clients and internal product teams on design analysis, code standardization and industry best practices

Able to understand functional and non-functional UI requirements and deliver them with high quality

Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and able to meet and exceed their expectations

Identify and evolve common tool stack, design and develop reusable frameworks / components with an aim to standardize and accelerate user interface development across various development projects

Technical Skills:

At least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the software development life cycle
Proficient in modern UI and web-based development using React and Redux
Sound knowledge of JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, CSS3
Rich experience in creating Responsive Web Design
Good knowledge of Unit Testing and frameworks like Jest/Enzyme, RTL, Jasmine/Karma
Experience with Agile methodologies

Good to have:

Backend expertise with Node.js, Express and SQL/NoSQL databases
Knowledge of data visualization libraries (D3, InfoVis etc.)
Hands-on with code productionizing, performance optimization and performing deployments (eg. using Webpack, Parcel, etc.)
Experience in Cloud and UI serverless framework (Amplify, Firebase, Azure Web Apps)
