Roles and Responsibilities:
- Experience of Software Design, development and maintenance of Head-End-System in Power domain for minimum of 5 years
- Responsible for working with partners in implementation in two-way AMI technology, from HES (head-end software) and MDM to the field endpoints.
- Good understanding of Head End System, Meter Data Management System, REST API, DLMS Protocols, Communication over Cellular / RF / NBIoT
- Creating technical specifications for back-end server software and RESTfull services
- Customization, Maintaining, Testing, Bug Fixing of HES and other AMI Applications as per business needs of different market requirements
- Integrating the HES with different type of Metering and communication systems and different type of MDM and Billing Systems
- Create database queries and scripts for multiple database engines (Cassandra, PostgreSql and SQL Server)
- Understanding and working knowledge of IS 13779, IS15959(Part 1 and Part 2), IS16444, and IS 15884.
- Good Understanding of DLMS books (Green, Yellow and Blue)
- Basic Knowledge of Servers Operating System, and Network Packet Tracing with any Open-Source Tool
- Provide necessary support for Firmware/ Software in Smart Meters
- Collaborate with peer architects, Systems Engineering and Product Management and other technical and non-technical stakeholders in the current product development process
Qualification and Experience requirements:
- Master of Computer Application (MCA) or B.E. / B.Tech specializing in IT / Comp. Sc/ Electronics & communication.
- Exponential knowledge of Java, Spring boot, Angular JS, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DLMS, MODBUS
- 1-6 Years' relevant experience in Utility domain inclusive of AMR or AMI or in HES / MDM products in IT industry or product industry would be preferred
- Experience with Hardware Security Modules/Load balancers is a plus
