PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: 

The Information Technology (IT) group maintains the IT assets and operations
and enables and empowers employees to perform the various business activities
on an ongoing basis. Geographically spread across multiple offices, the
Information Technology group works seamlessly as a single unit to delivers
services to the business on a 24X7 basis. The IT team is expanding its presence
in India and we are looking at hiring two IT Analysts as a first step.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Major Accountabilities (Duties may include but are not limited to) 

Responsible for requirement gathering and analysis, development, support,
maintenance and implementation of complex business applications (mainly
database driven web applications, predominantly on the Microsoft technologies).

Understand and document application functionality, user manuals, test cases,
user requirement and technical design documentation etc

Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and impart the training to fellow
team members

Further build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills

Guide new members in the team to help them scale up faster.

Performs other tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (INCLUDING EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS)

Bachelor's Level Degree (Engineering Graduates preferred)

2 to 8 of relevant experience

Experience in developing applications in the areas of financial services,
banking, or mortgage business, and in enterprise document management systems is
a plus.

Experience in developing enterprise scale multi-tier web, client and
server-based software applications 

Exposure to all phases of the software development lifecycle such as
requirements definition, development, production support, and testing. 

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Understanding of the software development cycle, including the Build and
Release management aspects.d Responsibilities
