The Role:
Windows App Packaging & Deployment Engineer
A Senior level Application Packaging & deployment Engineer to manage a critical requirement. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in Windows application packaging and deployment to workstations & servers. Should possess strong experience in PowerShell scripting. Knowledge about Radia is an added advantage. Individual should be passionate about emerging technologies, possess strong architecture & design experience and multi skilled.
Key Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of Advanced level of experience in application packaging using InstallShield and strong experience in software deployment & patching for end user devices and servers
- Advanced level of scripting experience on windows platform (PowerShell scripting/automation practices)
- Engage Application Owner/Developer/Vendor to assist with technical configuration when necessary
- Perform internal testing/quality assurance to ensure package complies with standards.
- Coordinate testing and User Acceptance Signoff with application owner.
- Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment.
- Engage internal customer to obtain packaging requirements and create technical documents with solutions to meet requirements and scale to large environment.
- Experience or Knowledge on Radia is an added advantage
- Good Knowledge on Confluence knowledge Management tool
- Good Knowledge ServiceNow & ITSM process
- Knowledge on Active directory (GPOs, OUs etc.,)
- Good experience in working with banking domain & environment
- Demonstrate a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

- Understand customer pain areas & requirements and respond with design solutions addressing them
- Understanding of various project phases and deliver milestones defined
- Strong documentation and presentation skills
- Change Management skillsets for various design and deployment related activities
Behavioral Skills-
- Understanding of customer requirements and interacting with clients to formulate solutions
- Act as a technical SME to support and provide guidance to resolve complex technical issues of projects
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 8+ years of work experience in application packaging, software & patch management across various industry standard tools set.
- Education qualification: B. Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college or university
- ITIL and relevant certifications will be added advantage
