Proven experience in developing automated test systems and scripts beyond record and playback. Specifically developing functions, adding control flow logic, loops etc

Experience in Automation framework development

Strong experience in automated testing tools, like QTP, UFT, Rational Robot, etc

Good development/scripting skills in common languages like VB, JAVA, PERL, C , etc

Proven understanding of white box, grey box and black box testing techniques

Experience using SQL with regard to writing and understanding queries and procedures

Good experience with different Operating Systems

Good understanding of object oriented programming, J2EE architecture, . NET, etc

Technical background and an understanding of the Finance/Banking industry

Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment

Some experience in Manual Functional Testing and writing Test Cases from Functional Specification Documents

Exposure to performance/load testing

Experience in Agile development methodologies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
