Job Description:
- Deep familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu), Apache, MySQL and PHP
- Ability to create and maintain robust servers that will handle roughly 1.5M requests per hour at our current load
- Ability to systematize the creation of servers so we can maintain and update our web servers without customer downtime
- Assist with adding a load balancer to allow us to use smaller servers and scale as needed during peak hours
- Provide guidance and insight into best practices for production servers
- Some overlap with the current Classic team would occur with the work we've already accomplished for server automation
- Quickly accessible during any incidents
- Would report to Matthew primarily, with me as a backup.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform is preferred but not required
