Purpose of Job

Responsible for new implementation and ongoing support and development of existing eCommerce systems & applications. 
Part of a team of software developers, responsible for developing industry leading, robust and innovative software solutions on our Hybris platform.
Maintains and supports production issues with the Hybris platform.

Education/Degree

Bachelors Degree in Computer science, computer technology or similar

Language Skills

B2 Upper intermediate minimum

Experience/Industry knowledge

• Experience in Java-based, enterprise-scale, commercial web applications.
• 4+ Years of Experience in developing web-based applications on Java/Spring Platform
• 3+ Years of experience  on Hybris Platform
• At least one full lifecycle Implementation on  Hybris ecommerce platform
• Integration with 3rd party webservices and ERP Systems.

Requirements/detailed tasks

Develops in a scalable, multi-mandate capability and sustainable way. 
Manages mixed culture (J2EE/Web oriented languages/.NET) development. 
Ensures correct implementation in respect of technical requirements, code quality and performance and follow up. 
Review peers code.
Maintains up-to-date documentation. 
Codes in respect of corporate guidelines and deliver code which is well unit tested and consistently error free.
Timely communicates any potential delay in progress and fulfilment of milestones.
Keep up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies.
