JOB DETAIL

  • Good working knowledge of the Linux kernel with 5-7 years of experience in this field
  • Familiarity with Centos/Red Hat distro.
  • Open-source kernel contributions would be a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the following:
  • Memory allocation, like slab allocator, malloc etc.
  • Scheduling
  • cgroup concepts
  • Kernel debugging
  • Threading
  • Driver integration
  • Familiarity with RPMs and the kernel compile process (Kconfig etc)
  • At least a BS in Computer Science (not Computer Engineering), MS preferred.
