What we look for
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech- Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Mechanical system design and development in HVAC products
- Exposure to project management techniques
- Gather project data for effort, schedule, defect and cost for measurement against agreed plan and report variances if any
- Conduct RCAs to devise corrective action plans and track to closure
- Extract, analyze and report metrics and health indicators for status reporting purposes
- Ensure adoption of organization processes and templates across all projects
- Apply matured project management practices and standards to all projects
- Build risk database, defect database and learnings database
- Report project performance
- Analyze impact of changes on schedule and efforts
- Document and manage change requests
- Understand/ Create Project scope, effort estimation, devise timelines and resource allocations
Preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC equipments like AHUs, VRF, PAC, RAC, Dedicated outside Air Systems, Heat pumps etc.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, Psychometrics, Thermodynamics and Refrigeration Cycles, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Systems and Components (compressors, heat exchangers, fans and blowers, refrigerants, , construction materials, safety devices, etc.), HVAC&R Design [ Mechanical design].
- Knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance)
- Knowledge of sheet metal part and assembly modelling
- Working proficiency in the CAD (2D & 3D) design tools preferably ProE/Creo and PLM (Wind-chill)
- Proven experience on Team building, people and project management
- Strong leadership and communication skills and be able to discuss technical topics with individuals and groups with a wide range of technical backgrounds
- He should be more into sheet metal design and air handling unit design
