The Product Owner will assume responsibility for providing domain knowledge expertise, data connectivity and business requirements for product development processes and deliver on:
- Understand the Trade Surveillance global regulatory domain (for example, MAD, MiFID II, Dodd Frank, MAS, ASIC, etc.) and translate the business requirements to functional and technical requirements
- Define detailed product requirements in alignment with Product Management and work with R&D and Client to assure delivery of the product features
- Support detailed definition of Product roadmap
- Understand and support the development and deployment processes
- Work with architects, R&D, and clients to understand high level design, cross interfaces impact & architectural or non-functional features and prepare for next development iteration
- Support the PM in development of use scenarios for technical users (e.g.non-functional requirements, serviceability etc.)
- Provide support to Customer Support, Professional Services and Technical Presales teams for Product issues
- Review, give feedback & approve Product deliveries according to acceptance criteria within area of responsibility.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5 to 8 years of overall Financial Markets IT industry experience
- 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst / Product owner for an enterprise class software Company
- Very good understanding of financial data model (security master file, market data, orders, executions, etc.)
- Proven experience in the Trade Surveillance domain
- Familiarity with Data Bases, Data warehouse and Data Management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong background in global Financial markets , Trading background Big Plus
- Extensive background in data analysis and data modeling either from a vendor perspective or internal program perspective
- Vast experience with creating specifications (specifically the ability to understand business requirements) and delivering them to software teams
