- Coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality;
- Helping the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done;
- Causing the removal of impediments to the Scrum Team s progress;
- Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Define, together with your Scrum Team, the metrics that will provide data to be used in the Retrospective meetings to find areas of improvement and define action plans that will ensure such improvements are effectively implemented.
- Find effective ways for keeping full transparency of the Scrum Team s ways of working, processes, challenges and levels of effectiveness and efficiency.
- Expecting and being a strong promoter of the same level of transparency from the rest of the organization.
- Promoting and support the implementation of a culture based on value delivering and continuous feedback
- Promoting frequent Scrum Team celebration of victories and opportunities that led to establish continuous learning and improving
The Product Owner
- Actively coaching, teaching, and mentoring Product Owners to become the best version of themselves and to provide a new and fresh perspectives on how they can use their vast traditional Project/Program management experience in an Agile organization
- Actively coaching, teaching, and mentoring Product Owners and other leaders on achieving a collective Agile Mindset and to become true and effective Servant Leaders.
- Helping find techniques for effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management;
- Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items;
- Helping establish empirical product planning for a complex environment; and,
- Facilitating stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed.
The organization, together with the rest of Scrum Masters in Automation Development:
- Leading, training, and coaching the closest organization to your team(s), in its Scrum adoption;
- Supporting Scrum implementations within the organization;
- Helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work;
- Removing barriers between stakeholders and your Scrum Team(s).
- Support, promote, coach, mentor and teach people in your closest organization, to understand the benefits and adopt an Agile Mindset and behaviour.
- Be an active member of AD s Scrum Master Community.
- Promoting and supporting the implementation of continuous learning organization.
What is needed to succeed
- 4+ years of experience as a scrum master, with proven capabilities in Lean-Agile leadership, behaviours, and mindset
- Great team coaching skills, you can educate and guide the Scrum Team(s).
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Has experience working with Agile metrics and continuous feedback to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the Scrum Team(s) within a Product and Project environment
- Has working and basic configuration experience with Azure DevOps
- Experienced in working with remote teams
- In-depth Knowledge of Agile frameworks and methods (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), ideally, including effective scaled Agile frameworks and ways of working
- Great understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
- Can effectively facilitate difficult discussions within teams and with diverse senior stakeholders
- Experience working with software teams for cloud-based systems, IoT solutions or modern analytic solutions to have credible discussions with POs and team members.
