JOB DETAIL
You will:
Be the PTP go-to IT contact to resolve any operational issues related to SAP SRM with knowledge of its integrations with FICO/ IHC/TRM modules.
Understand interfaces in and out of these modules, standard procurement processes and configure, test and deploy solutions working with cross-functional finance and IT teams.
Work closely with AP teams and other Finance team members to understand their requirements to come up with options to address them using standard SAP, with minimal customizations.
Partner with business SME s, engage with other IT teams (BI, Middleware, Infrastructure, etc.) and manage external providers, interact with external vendors as and when required to deliver and support business solutions
Follow standard ticketing, change management methodologies during issue resolution, enhancement and project life cycles.
Set and manage expectations with business and teams members an communicates proactively when there is a risk of meeting the deadlines
Your background:
As a PTP Specialist you have:
5+ years of relevant work experience in SAP SRM to support and maintain PTP needs from an IT perspective.
Good understanding of the SAP FICO modules with understanding of AP, AR and GL processes.
Ability and experience to closely coordinate with the internal AP, finance, accounting teams to come up with requirements, translate to functional design to help with technical specifications.
Excellent attitude, decent communication skills, drive to learn and excel.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems is preferred; Technical certification in SAP is a plus.
