The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior HR and Administrator at our Pune office to provide HR and administrative support to our global team. The ideal candidate has superior organizational skills, is a self - starter with positive attitude, and is proactive and possess the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a diverse team. Because this role is client facing as well as a leadership support position, excellent interpersonal and technical skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of individuals, groups, and clients is a must.
The Role
The resource will work within the Business Operations team, to provide support to the local office and the global team, as well as some executive support using a high degree of professionalism, autonomy, and confidentiality. He/ She must be able to proactively participate in the multitasking and changing business environment to meet the demands of a growing company and of the executive team.
We use an integrated system of software, including time - tracking and invoicing, HR and payroll; the resource will need to become familiarized with these systems and work on coordinating information and management of all with other members of the company s administrative team.
Responsibilities
Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development (including recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, moral and motivation, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal and quality management issues)
Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR.s
Develop performance management plan and development plans for staff
Liaise with other functional / departmental head so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements.
Contribute to the evaluation and development of HR strategy and performance in cooperation with the executive team.
Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
Coordinate with building facilities (World Trade Center, Pune) for typical operational tasks.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of office equipment and work with premises security to ensure the safety of employees and clients.
Coordinate with various government agencies, banks and vendors to support our business operations.
Conduct thorough time - sheets reviews of all our resources utilizing the time tracking systems we employ.
Prepare letters, proposals, charts, tables and other documents using various software packages.
Assist with invoice processing and budget tracking for our projects whenever needed.
Create and implement organizational procedures across multiple departments.
Organize and prepare items in relation to meetings, including but not limited to: invitations, creation and assembly of documents for distribution, update reports, etc.
Perform other typical administrative duties as necessary
Skills & Experience
MBA in HR is very desirable.
5 - 7 years of experience preferred.
Superior organizational skills.
Prior experience working in an entrepreneurial, client - focused environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, internet research skills and web based applications
Excellent communication skills.
