Responsibilities and Duties

Review and analyze application requirement specifications

Write test plan, test cases and prepare test data

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results

Create logs to document testing phases and defects

Report bugs and errors to development teams

Help troubleshoot issues

Participate in defect triaging and tech demos with onsite counterparts

Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle

Skills Experience

6+ years of hands-on experience in testing of Web-based and Mobile based applications

Experience in project management and QA methodology

Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing

Ability to document and troubleshoot defects

Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Bugzilla, Zephyr) and JIRA

Working knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium webdriver with JAVA/Python

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail

Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude

Strong organizational skills

Ability to lead a team of multiple testers for a QA project

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
